The UN awards EAA special consultative status
The United Nations Committee on Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) awarded the Special Consultative Status in the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) to EAA during its session, which began at the UN headquarters in New York on May 22nd. The selection of EAA comes as an acknowledgement of its outstanding role in promoting education in over 50 countries around the world. The award is also in recognition of the foundation’s work with children whose education has been disrupted by conflict.
