PEIC workshop with WPDI (23 Oct - 26 Oct)
PEIC hosted a workshop for the Whitaker Peace & Development Initiative (WPDI) youth leaders from South Sudan and northern Uganda. PEIC presented concepts underlying international law and specifically the protection of education in conflict and insecurity, and the Safe Schools Declaration. The concluding event was held at Georgetown University’s Qatar campus where the film War Dance was introduced by Prof Verhoven to audience members who included EAA staff, EAA’s youth advocates and GUQ undergraduates.
