As the global development community works towards transforming education in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs) our joint paper with Save The Children provides new analysis of the research into physical activity, sport and education.  

Our findings show that physical activity boosts brain development and maximises learning.  It must therefore be considered a fundamental part of quality education to increase the chances of achieving universal education for every child, youth and adolescent.
