Youth (aged 14 - 19) in six project countries are socially and economically empowered by equipping them with gender-sensitive global citizenship skills and behaviors (financial literacy, creativity, critical thinking, problem solving, cooperation, negotiation, decision-making, financial-management, resilience, communication, respect for diversity, empathy). The project is implemented in the six countries for achieving the following:
- Improved knowledge and capacity of CSOs in project countries and deliver gender-sensitive life skills and global citizenship education to youth in formal and non-formal education settings
- Improved gender-sensitive life skills and citizenship behaviors to effectively and responsibly make informed decisions that contribute to individual wellbeing and a more inclusive and sustainable space for youth (14 – 19 years old) in six project countries.
- Increased awareness of national authorities in project countries on the importance of including gender-sensitive life skills and citizenship education in national curricula to support youth in effectively contributing to a more inclusive and sustainable space (local/national)
